Vail – Cascade Village
Cascade Village is the area in the Western part of Vail (between Lionshead Village and West Vail / Intermountain). The are is most notable for the Vail Cascade Resort and Spa – a large hotel in the area (which is currently in renovation). If you like going into Vail Village or Lionshead, you can get there easily but you are NOT in walking distance.
There is the free Town of Vail bus system that can easily get you to either location in 15 minutes or so (usually quicker). In Cascade Village, if you want to exercise during your visit, there is a very nice exercise facility called the Aria Athletic Club and Spa. There you will find exercise equipment (fitness and cardio), classes, indoor basketball, racquetball and tennis – there is a daily or weekly fee of course.
The most common ski landmark in the Cascade Village area is the Cascade Ski lift and to locals, the Aria Athletic Club (frequented by many locals and visitors).
In Cascade Village you will find the hotel room option as well as apartments, condominiums, duplex homes and single family homes. There are many types of accommodations to choose from.
