Vail Village, West side near the Sonnenalp Resort – You have the option to walk to the ski slopes and ski lifts (the Vail Village Gondola – Gondola One / 1) is closest – was the Vista Bahn lift until 2012). These are secluded and quiet condominiums and we like the location.
While we like all areas of Vail Village, this area, around the well known Sonnenalp Resort in Vail, is a great option to consider based on the size of your party. Look here for How to Choose Where I Want to Stay this Year. You’ll find information on how to ensure you are staying in the area that works best for your travel plans.
What a benefit that this Town of Vail Condominium has been completely remodeled as of December 2012 and is ready for your stay beginning in January of 2013.
If you prefer to balance your Vail Village vacation with the Mountains outside and modern finishes inside, this is one for you to consider.
This Penthouse Condominium has been professionally decorated for you to enjoy. There are platinum level finishes (for information on the level system in Vail, see our article on What do the levels mean for Vail Rental Homes) throughout the condo and everything is new.
Walk into Vail Village for Town of Vail Bus Access, shopping and dining. Also gain access to the new Gondola 1 (formerly known as the Vista Bahn ski lift).
The master bedroom upstairs has a king bed, LCD TV, with a large en-suite bathroom with a glass-enclosed granite-walled steam shower. Also upstairs, the second bedroom has a king bed, LCD TV, with a full bathroom. On the main floor is the large living room, fully-equipped kitchen, and half-bath. Also on the main level is the third bedroom with two twin beds, fourth bedroom with two twin beds, and a shared full bathroom.
Not too far from restaurants in either Vail Village or Lionshead (you can also enjoy the restaurants at the Sonnenalp Resort — Ludwig’s and the Bully Ranch). Either use the free Town of Vail bus system or put on your snow shoes (in winter of course!) and walk around the city areas — we like the Town of Vail bus system personally. Either way, you are close to all Vail ski areas for shopping, dining and of course skiing.
This home is comfortable and large condominium for your vacation rental and should work fine for most family or friendly configurations.
